Summary
Warehouse workers are responsible for storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders to enhance efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction while ensuring a safe work environment.
Essential Functions
- Assist in shipping, receiving, unloading trucks, and checking merchandise.
- Process orders by pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins.
- Open bales, crates, and other containers.
- Maintain inventory controls by recording materials received or distributed and assisting with physical inventory counts.
- Keep the work environment safe and clean by organizing the warehouse and using proper safety equipment.

- Good communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills.
- Dependable and reliable.
Physical Demands
- Use hands to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- Regularly lift/move objects weighing 10–50 lbs; occasionally lift/move objects weighing over 100 lbs.
- Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally sit and climb or balance.
- Vision requirements include closeness, distance, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Required Education and Experience
- 2 years of warehouse experience.
- Forklift experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
