Northwest Frozen, based in Seattle, is a leading food manufacturing company, known for innovation and quality. We operate the largest sushi factory in North America and are expanding our product lines in 2024. We offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment, aiming to revolutionize the fresh and frozen food industry.

The Position

As a Production Manager, you’ll report to the Plant Manager and oversee daily production activities. Your role is to ensure efficient production processes, meeting targets and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and implement production plans to meet targets.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise production staff. Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Inventory & Logistics Management: Monitor inventory levels and ensure the timely availability of materials.
  • Performance Optimisation: Establish and track KPIs to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage production budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Communication & Reporting: Monitor production activities and communicate goals and performance to stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in food manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in production management.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in production management software, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
  • Experience with safety regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.

Interview Process
