Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Human Resource specialist or recruiter to support our HR department in recruitment, employment, and personnel recordkeeping. The role includes managing job postings, handling candidate inquiries, and overseeing staffing needs. The HR specialist or recruiter will be key in providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive HR presence.
Responsibilities
- Provide recruitment support to internal and external customers.
- Review resumes, prescreen candidates, and manage recruiting logistics.
- Assist with onboarding, including employment documents and new hire orientation.
- Maintain recruitment platforms (ZipRecruiter, Indeed, CareerBuilder, etc.).
- Collaborate with hiring managers to determine qualifications for positions.
- Forecast recruitment needs with leadership.
- Communicate company policies and procedures to employees.
- Assist with open enrollment and update benefits information.
- Maintain DMV records and schedule safety training.
- Develop and maintain employee training database in HRIS system.
- Serve as the central contact for immigration matters and work with external immigration law firms.
- Ensure compliance with immigration and recruitment regulations.
- Compile personnel statistics and prepare reports.
- Assist with special HR projects as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years in HR or recruitment.
- Strong knowledge of VISA processes.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ADP Workforce Now, experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills.
- Problem-solving and detail-oriented.
