Job Overview

Perform general HR administrative duties and provide support on company policies, procedures, and documentation. Assist HR leadership and employees with various HR activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain employee benefits files (health insurance, STD, 401K, workers’ comp, COBRA).
  • Coordinate Group Insurance Annual Open Enrollment.
  • Address employee inquiries on benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with insurance claims and billing issues.
  • Monitor and report on employee leave requests and FMLA.
  • Manage immigration and work status processes (H1B, PR, E2, TN1, B1 Visa).
  • Prepare payroll change logs bi-monthly.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and exit interviews.
  • Prepare monthly HR reports.
  • Coordinate HR activities across multiple sites.
  • Investigate and document employee complaints.
  • Provide administrative support for training activities.
  • Assist with recruitment and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Knowledge of EEOC, FLSA, and FMLA.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
  • High energy and initiative.
  • Bilingual in Chinese preferred.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; HR-related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in health insurance administration.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in payroll processing.
  • Previous HR Generalist experience is a plus.
