Job Overview
Perform general HR administrative duties and provide support on company policies, procedures, and documentation. Assist HR leadership and employees with various HR activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain employee benefits files (health insurance, STD, 401K, workers’ comp, COBRA).
- Coordinate Group Insurance Annual Open Enrollment.
- Address employee inquiries on benefits, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with insurance claims and billing issues.
- Monitor and report on employee leave requests and FMLA.
- Manage immigration and work status processes (H1B, PR, E2, TN1, B1 Visa).
- Prepare payroll change logs bi-monthly.
- Conduct new hire orientations and exit interviews.
- Prepare monthly HR reports.
- Coordinate HR activities across multiple sites.
- Investigate and document employee complaints.
- Provide administrative support for training activities.
- Assist with recruitment and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Knowledge of EEOC, FLSA, and FMLA.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
- High energy and initiative.
- Bilingual in Chinese preferred.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; HR-related field preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience in health insurance administration.
- 1-3 years’ experience in payroll processing.
- Previous HR Generalist experience is a plus.
