The Maryland Department of Transportation, Maryland Aviation Administration (MDOT MAA) is looking for a talented fixed asset accountant to join our team at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall Airport). 

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of BWI Marshall Airport’s fixed assets and property.
  • Track and record all asset data in the MDOT Financial Management Information System (FMIS).
  • Coordinate the acquisition and transfer of assets between departments.
  • Conduct annual fixed asset inventories and advise department heads.
  • Ensure all assets are properly documented and accounted for.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or 30 credit hours in Accounting + 3 in auditing).
  • 2 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on fixed assets and general ledger.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
