Customs Entry Processing Agent – DHL (Port Huron, MI)
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Customs Entry Processing Agent to join our team in Port Huron, Michigan. In this role, you’ll be responsible for entering customer data and processing customs entry documentation for air and ocean shipments.
What you’ll do:
- Enter new customer orders into our system to get their cargo released from customs.
- Make sure all data is accurate and uploaded on time.
- Upload documents electronically as needed.
- Contact importers to get the missing information.
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Handle moderately complex shipments and understand trade agreements (FTAs) and government agencies (PGAs) involved.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned.
You’re a great fit if you have:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Strong keyboarding and data entry skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to work various shifts (days, evenings, nights, or weekends).
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
