HOW TO TRANSFER DATA ON ETISALAT (9Mobile)

Etisalat (9mobile) data share

The 9mobile network enables subscribers to share data with family and friends through more blaze. This enables you to share data with family and friends via the more blaze family plan, move a portion of your data package via the data balance transfer feature, use your airtime to purchase a data plan for someone else via data gifting and cover up to four devices with the multi-device plan using only one data plan. To be able to switch MBs on the Etisalat network, you do not have to move from your current tariff; instead, you can use one of the methods mentioned below.

Data balance transfer

This enables you to submit information to a mate. If you have at least 100MB of data in your bundle, you can perform a one-time data transfer. You can submit up to 50MB per transaction, up to five times per day. It operates identically to an airtime switch.

If you use the internet on multiple devices, 9mobile’s multi-device plan is ideal for you. With a single smartphone plan, you can attach up to four additional devices. You’ll have to rely on battery-draining wifi hotspots. Additionally, when you have many devices, you can purchase larger data plans – meaning you get more data for your money.

Moreblaze family plan

To subscribe to a family plan, dial *917# or dial *200#, then

    • choose option 3 for data
    • select option 5
    • buy a data bundle
    • Share your data

Data transfer

To transfer data, dial:

*229*recipient*Amount Of MB followed by a number, for example, *229*08083253341*50# OR *229*recipient*Amount Of MB*pin#, for example, *229*08083253341*50*pin#. 0000 is the default security pin. Following this, the total amount of memory listed will be transferred to the value entered.

Multi-device plan

Your primary smartphone should be used to configure all secondary devices. If you are already subscribed to a 9mobile blackberry plan, we recommend that you keep your primary sim in your blackberry phone, as data sharing will not work.
