Job Description

INEOS Nitriles, a chemical company in Green Lake, TX, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join their team! In this part-time (24 hours/week) role, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing and improving their Occupational Health Program.

What you’ll do

  • Manage all aspects of the Occupational Health Program, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Provide immediate and preventive medical care to employees and contractors.
  • Conduct health screenings, including pulmonary function testing, respirator fit testing, and audiograms.
  • Oversee health surveillance programs to meet OSHA standards.
  • Collaborate with management on employee health issues and work restrictions.
  • Lead wellness programs to promote employee well-being.
  • Assist with emergency response planning and training (First Aid, CPR, Infection Control).
  • Manage drug and alcohol testing programs and annual physicals.
  • Maintain medical records and ensure proper equipment function.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with Occupational Health Certification (or 10+ years of relevant experience).
  • Must have certifications in specimen collection, ACLS, audio testing (CAOHC), and NIOSH pulmonary function testing.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds occasionally and perform other physical tasks.
