What Is The Difference Between JAMB Regularization And Normal Registration, And Who Needs Regularization?

Jamb regularization is a process in Nigeria which ensures that the details of your current admission with your tertiary institution are properly approved by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

This process is necessary for students who got admitted into tertiary institutions but do not have JAMB registration number or admission letter due to some reasons.

Why Regularize with JAMB?

Admission Validation: It helps ascertain that your admission details are matching records kept at JAMB.

Access to JAMB Documents: For those who were admitted without approval from JAMB, it allows them to acquire an official JAMB admission letter and registration number.

Eligibility for NYSC: For graduates aiming to participate in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme this is a must.

Who Needs the Regularization?

Students who did not initially go through JAMB before being admitted via pre-degree programmes, remedial studies or basic programmes.

Students who were given admissions in schools which did not require them to write UTME.

Students whose admission details could not be found in the database of JAMB.

What You Need for Regularizing Your Admission Process

Jamb registration number (if available).

O’level results (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB).

Personal data like names, date of birth and email address.
